-partially o partly?-

-partially o partly?-
Nota d'uso
Partly si usa più spesso di partially, soprattutto col significato di “in parte”: Performance is assessed partly by examination and partly by written course work, il rendimento è valutato in parte attraverso un esame e in parte attraverso prove scritte durante il corso; Partly because of the poor financial state of the economy and partly because of the weather, profits were down last year, in parte a causa della grave situazione economica e in parte a causa delle condizioni meteorologiche, i profitti l'anno scorso furono bassi.
